Inventories
The inventories are useful tools to identify, provide easy access to information, and share web-based climate-related tools, atlases, portals or platforms that have been increasingly published over the years. They are able to convey climate data, derived climate information on climate risk and adaptation, sector- or user-specified climate services to a large range of users. Here we distinguish between a tool and a platform:
Tool: A specialized technical application designed to address specific aspects of climate science, often offering tips for reducing risks or adapting to change.
Platform: A broader system that brings together tools, data, and other resources to support different processes and decisions in climate adaptation.
Please, use the inventories and provide your feedback on them using the form proposed in the Citizen science section!
Climate Data
The Climate Data Inventory brings together tools that support the analysis of atmospheric variables and the evaluation of hazard indicators
Climate Risk
The Climate Risk Inventory includes platforms and tools assessing the climate risk, including hazards, vulnerability and exposure indicators
Climate Adaptation
The Climate Adaptation Inventory includes platforms and tools addressing adaptation strategies and actions to climate risks
